Senior Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity for a senior Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving main contractor.

Established regional and national contractor with a varied and continually expanding portfolio of building projects.

Role
A senior QS is required join a close knit team to take the lead in the commercial management of a broad range of building projects, within several sectors, including education, commercial and retail. This is a hands on role with typical day to day senior Quantity Surveyor project responsibilities but with additional accountability for ensuring robust commercial procedure. Reporting directly to the commercial manager with the ability to lead 2 or 3 project simultaneously.

Experience Required
This position is available to applicants who have a demonstrable history of leading projects and working with the project team to maximise the success of the project for the client and contractor.
Planning and undertaking procurement of sub-contract works and subcontractor account management.
Monitoring and managing risks, change and overall project cost control to maximise profitability.
Accurate reporting of project financial performance.
Administering main contracts and sub-contracts throughout the works with knowledge of JCT & NEC forms.

Remuneration
Salary will vary depending on experience, plus package including generous company car/allowance, pension scheme and health insurances.
