A respected civil engineering and groundworks contractor are looking to hire a Site Manager due to an influx of significant projects in the West Yorkshire area.
This is a great opportunity for the right individual to be involved in delivering full groundworks packages to a variety of clients. The company are established across the North of England and 2 regional offices.
Typical work that the company delivers include the construction of new roads and sewers, section 278 works, section 38 works, drainage, foundations and all associated groundworks and externals. Typical package values are anywhere from £3m to £12m.
Directing on-site staff and sub-contractors in day to day responsibilities.
Writing and updating RAMS.
Holding progress meetings with clients and senior management.
Keeping daily records up to date.
Monitoring health and safety with regular site audits.
Planning works and ensuring deadlines are met.
Ordering of materials for site.
Proven experience as Site Manager delivering full groundworks packages (residential or commercial).
SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid (necessary)
NRSWA, Temporary Works or other relevant qualifications (beneficial)
A salary of up to £48,000 will be discussed depending upon skills and experience. Alongside this is a generous package including: vehicle or allowance, fuel card, company pension scheme, potential bonus and annual leave entitlement.
