Key Responsibilities
Support Senior Quantity Surveyors: Assist senior members of the Quantity Surveying team in managing all aspects of cost control and financial management for housing development projects.

Activities include:

Tendering and Procurement: preparation of tender documents, evaluation of tenders, and sub-contractor selection.
Contract Management: Help administer construction contracts, ensuring that project costs are managed effectively and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Variations and Claims: measurement on site, negotiating with subcontractors and agreeing claims
Cost Reporting: Prepare regular cost reports, highlighting any variances and recommending necessary actions.
Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies to maintain project profitability.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications and Skills
A relevant construction qualification
Some practical experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction or housing development industry
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
A proactive, results-driven attitude and a passion for the construction industry.
Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic and expanding organization.
