Contracts Manager – North East Work
Established main contractor with diverse project pipeline.
Reporting to the Managing Director, a Contracts Manager is required due to expansion, to take ownership of a number of civil engineering sites. Responsibilities will range from establishing site requirements from paperwork to resources, leading and motivating the project team, interaction with external stakeholders such as the client and design consultants, and overseeing the agenda for health and safety, programming and quality.
The Contracts Manager is also expected to contribute to the overall running and improvement of the business by identifying problems and solutions, encouraging team development and ensuring
The successful applicant will be experienced in civil engineering, demonstrate motivational leadership abilities and competence in setting up and managing projects in accordance with varying client requirements. A good knowledge of programming and planning, liaising with design teams and managing plant and labour should be evidenced. Applicants must hold CSCS, SMSTS and a valid driving licence.
Negotiable depending on experience – package will include generous salary, company car or car allowance, contributory pension scheme and other healthcare benefits.
