Design Manager

Due to a strong forecast, an opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager to join one of the largest regional builders.

Company
An established regional contractor working on a range of projects across the private and public sector.

Role 
The Design Manager will oversee the complete design process, including, the production of design programmes, design scopes, design responsibility matrices, appointments, schedules to record progress, up-line reporting, attending/chairing necessary meetings and workshops. The successful applicant will have exposure to the preconstruction and construction stages of the project, co-ordinating design consultants and making sure that the design is consistent with the client’s requirements, current legislation, and correct technical standards.

Experience Required
Applicants will ideally have experience managing the design of public sector projects in healthcare, leisure and healthcare with a background in a design role for a contractor or consultant design practice.

Remuneration
Competitive package dependent on experience.
