Senior Quantity Surveyor

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving team.

A successful and well established housebuilder located within the North East region is recruiting due to expansion.

Role
An experienced quantity surveyor is required to join the commercial team to get involved in multi projects across a diverse range of housing. Reporting to the Chief Quantity Surveyor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of new budgets, bi-monthly site valuations, preparation of labour targets and sub-contractor procurement on a range of sites. The applicant will also need to ensure that all works are in line with project budgets, maximising cash flow and increasing profit margins wherever possible.

Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years industry experience, preferably in the private housing sector and will be able to work with minimal supervision and to time sensitive deadlines. They should be flexible, be capable of working on multiple task simultaneously and prioritise workloads.

Remuneration
A competitive salary depending on experience, company car, bonus scheme, pension and Health Care.
