Senior QS opportunity with a ready made career plan.
Established civil engineering contractor operating throughout the region, with a strong leadership team and plan to achieve continued growth through the achievement of new frameworks, increased market share in the public sector main contractor schemes, and larger subcontractor projects within major building and infrastructure projects.
This position forms part of the regional commercial team, responsible for management of various main and subcontractor projects. The position reports under a Managing QS and responsibilities will be undertaken for providing guidance, leadership and mentoring to junior colleagues. This role is positioned within a forward thinking business and team; access to regular training and development organised through industry professional bodies will be provided during work time, team building exercises form part of the job, and close integration with operational teams is encouraged.
In line with planned company growth and expansion, a career plan will be in place for the Senior QS, setting out development targets and milestones that will lead towards career steps into greater managerial responsibilities and positions within the business.
The Senior QS will come from a contractor background, competent and confident to work with various forms of contracts and clients. Most importantly, the Senior QS will be an inspiring lead to others, able to help shape and guide the junior members of the team.
Salary is negotiable – expected to be around £60,000 to £65,000 plus car/allowance and other package benefits, to be discussed.
