Role
An exciting opportunity for a Project surveyor has arisen to undertake the full change management of projects and ensuring their financial success by effectively managing and controlling the change process.

Key Responsibilities
Identifying potential changes to the project scope, specifications, or requirements that may impact costs or timelines.
Accurate documentation of all changes and maintaining thorough records of change requests.
Detailed assessment of potential impact on the project including evaluating the cost implications, assessing the schedule impact, and considering any associated commercial and legal risks.
Managing the financial aspect of changes, estimating the cost of proposed changes accurately and monitoring change-related expenditures to ensure they align with the project budget.
Working closely with project teams, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate the change management process. Conveying relevant information, obtaining approvals, and resolving any conflicts or disputes that may arise.
Identify and raise Early Warnings, CEs, and EOT.
Identifying and mitigating these risks to minimise their impact on project outcomes.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, contractual obligations, and industry standards. Ensuring that all changes adhere to applicable guidelines and requirements, and that proper authorisation procedures are followed.
Prepare monthly valuations as required and prepare/review monthly cost value reconciliations.

Essential Experience/Skills
Previous experience of quantity surveying within a Main Contracting environment.
Technical ability should include an understanding of contractual law (specifically NEC3), commercial reporting, tender procedures, commercial awareness, leadership skills, presentation skills and report writing.
Previous experience of extracting the relevant information from the Site, Commercial and Estimating teams to determine current and future financial project contribution.

Remuneration
Negotiable dependent upon experience.
